Open Water
- The fun starts here
Here at Lloyd Bailey's Scuba we just don't issue certification cards but we make properly trained scuba divers. We hold a no pressure and thorough class, because you have paid good money to get trained and not just to receive a certification card. Our instructional program is geared to your comfort zone and we exceed any agency's standards.
We also understand that just taking a class is not enough to become comfortable underwater and become proficient with scuba skills. That is why we offer a FREE trip down the Rainbow River for Open Water students that have completed their training and we also encourage former students to come back to dive with other Open Water Classes either during pool sessions (if space allows) or during the Open Water dive weekend to become more comfortable and to become better at basic scuba skills.
PREREQUISITES
Students must possess basic swimming skills & the desire to have
a GREAT time! This entry-level course provides the foundation for safely
pursuing the recreational sport of Open Water SCUBA diving in freshwater.
Salt-water training is available during our Open
Water II, West Palm Beach Weekends.
WE PROVIDE
Buoyancy Compensator (BC), air delivery system, weight
belt, tanks and a wetsuit. Also included in your course fee is an Open
Water Certification Card. Upon completion of the class, Lloyd will take
you on a FREE trip down the Rainbow
River.
YOU PROVIDE
Desire to have a GREAT time, SSI Logbook,
SSI Student Kit, Mask, Fins, Snorkel, Dive Boots, Dive Watch, and Slate.
We also highly recommend that you get a dive
gear bag, and dive knife. We also recommend that you get a personal
mouthpiece for the rental regulators that you will be using during the
class
DO NOT purchase any gear until you have met with your instructor for a PRECOUNSELING appointment!

Open Water Course
Pricing
1 for $ or sign up with a friend for 2 at $
A $50 deposit is required to reserve your spot. The total is due before
the start of the class.
Open Water Class
Schedule
Lecture and Pool Sessions all start at 6 PM Tuesday, Wednesday,
Thursday and last until 9:30PM. Open Water dive weekends start at the
store at 7 AM Saturday and Sunday and lasts until about 3 PM. The highlighted
dates are one week classes, starting
Sunday night and meeting every night and open water dives on Saturday
and Sunday.
