Five nights hotel, Eight Dives $
At least One Wreck dive, lobstering, spear fishing, and optional Night Dive (additional fee). This trip is during LOBSTAH SEASON, so be sure to have you saltwater fishing license with lobster stamp if you want to lobster. But if lobstering is not your thing there are plenty of beautiful reef to sightsee and wreck dives.
We stay in Islamorda to be closer to the reefs where we can spearfish and lobster yet close to the Beautiful Marine Sanctuaries for the divers that don't want to lobster or spearfish.
We stay in Islamorda to get away from the touristy Key Largo and get more of the Keys environment and atmosphere. We will be close to all the popular attractions like Holiday Isle and the Islamorda Fish Company.
We are staying at the Islander Resort, which has just recently renovated their rooms and has a private pier and a private beach. All rooms have kitchenettes with refrigerator, stove, etc.
This trip is unlike other Keys trips that other shops run because we will be staying during the week and not the weekend so less crowded reefs and boats and you have time to relax and enjoy yourself.
Most other dive shop trips to the Keys are just a weekend where you drive 7 hours from Gainesville and stay at the hotel and dive the following morning then dive the next day then drive all the way back after the dives another 7 hours back to Gainesville right at your dives unless you pay for another night hotel.
Our trip will allow you to dive the last day and have a chance to clean up and rest and have a good night's sleep before you drive back to Gainesville. We have planned this trip so you have time to do other stuff during your stay other than just scuba diving all the time. Holiday Isles Resort in just right down the road from the hotel where you can parasail, rent jetskis, ocean kayaks, etc.
